<p>At Aesthetic Korea, we often hear the same concern from first-time customers:</p>

<blockquote class="wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow">
<p>“I opened the box and the vial looks empty! Did I get scammed?”</p>
</blockquote>

<p>We get it you’re expecting a full bottle of liquid toxin, but when you look inside, it seems&#8230; empty. No liquid sloshing around, no visible fluid. But don’t worry — this is <em>exactly</em> how it’s supposed to be.</p>

<p>Let us explain.</p>

<h3 class="nm-block-heading wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f489.png" alt="💉" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Botulinum Toxin Comes as a Fine Powder</h3>

<p>All Korean botulinum toxin brands — including <strong>Nabota</strong>, <strong>Meditoxin</strong> are shipped in <em>freeze-dried powder</em> form. The contents are vacuum-sealed inside the vial with a tiny amount of highly concentrated toxin powder at the bottom.</p>

<p>You might not see it with your eyes, but it&#8217;s there usually around 0.1 mg to 0.3 mg of white powder. That’s all it takes to make 50–100 units of botulinum once it’s reconstituted properly.</p>

<h3 class="nm-block-heading wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f9ea.png" alt="🧪" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> What You’re Supposed to Do: Reconstitute It</h3>

<p>Before injecting, you’ll need to <strong>reconstitute</strong> the toxin with sterile saline (bacteriostatic sodium chloride 0.9%). The amount of saline you add depends on the desired units per mL. Most injectors use:</p>

<ul class="nm-block-list wp-block-list">
<li>2.5 mL for more concentrated dosing</li>

<li>3 mL for balanced dosing</li>

<li>4 mL for softer, spread-out effect</li>
</ul>

<p>Once mixed, gently roll the vial (don’t shake it hard), and draw up the amount needed. That’s when you’ll see the liquid form appear — not before.</p>

<h3 class="nm-block-heading wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f9ca.png" alt="🧊" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Why It Looks Empty After Shipping</h3>

<p>Sometimes the vial looks even more “empty” because of the melted ice pack. The toxin was still cold, but the insulation may not keep the ice frozen during transit. That’s okay!</p>

<p>These products are <strong>lyophilized</strong> (freeze-dried) and <strong>stable at room temperature for short periods</strong> including during shipping. As long as the vial isn&#8217;t broken or discolored and the powder hasn&#8217;t clumped due to moisture, it&#8217;s safe to use.</p>

<h3 class="nm-block-heading wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f512.png" alt="🔒" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Tips to Ensure Your Toxin is Legit</h3>

<p><strong><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f6a8.png" alt="🚨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Warm Packages, Weak Toxins? Let’s Clear the Air</strong></p>

<p>We get this question <em>all the time</em>:<br>“I received my tox order and the ice packs were melted… is my product still safe?”</p>

<p>Let’s break it down.</p>

<h3 class="nm-block-heading wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f52c.png" alt="🔬" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> The Science Behind Botulinum Toxins</h3>

<p>Korean botulinum toxins (like Innotox, Nabota, Rentox, Botulax, and others we offer at Aesthetic Korea) are freeze-dried powders not liquids. That’s important. Why?</p>

<p>Because <strong>freeze-dried (lyophilized) toxins are stable at room temperature</strong> for a reasonable amount of time, especially in their unopened vial.</p>

<h3 class="nm-block-heading wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f9ca.png" alt="🧊" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Why We Still Ship with Ice Packs</h3>

<p>We include cold packs as a <em>precaution</em> not because your tox will go bad if it warms up during transit.</p>

<p>Here’s why:</p>

<ul class="nm-block-list wp-block-list">
<li>It reassures customers who expect cold packs.</li>

<li>It adds a layer of temperature control in hot climates or during delays.</li>

<li>It reflects our commitment to proper handling.</li>
</ul>

<p>But if your pack arrives melted, <strong>don’t panic.</strong> That’s completely normal.</p>

<h3 class="nm-block-heading wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f4e6.png" alt="📦" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Is Warm = Bad?</h3>

<p>Nope. Here&#8217;s the truth:</p>

<blockquote class="wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow">
<p>Clinical data and manufacturer guidance both show that lyophilized toxins <strong>can tolerate normal shipping conditions</strong>, even without ice, for several days and still remain effective.</p>
</blockquote>

<p>The temperature risk is more relevant <strong>after you reconstitute the vial with saline</strong>. Once mixed, the product should be kept cold and used within the appropriate window.</p>

<h3 class="nm-block-heading wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/2705.png" alt="✅" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Best Practices for Storage Once You Receive It</h3>

<ul class="nm-block-list wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Unopened vials</strong>: Keep at room temp or store in the fridge (2°C–8°C) either is fine short-term.</li>

<li><strong>After reconstitution</strong>: Keep refrigerated and use within 72 hours (unless the specific product says otherwise).</li>

<li><strong>Avoid freezing</strong>: Never freeze a vial after mixing.</li>
</ul>

<h3 class="nm-block-heading wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f9f4.png" alt="🧴" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> What About Liquid Toxins Like Innotox?</h3>

<p>Innotox is pre-diluted and comes as a <em>liquid</em>, not powder. It’s more temperature-sensitive, but even then, it&#8217;s been formulated to withstand some variation during shipping.</p>

<p>Still, we recommend refrigerating it immediately after delivery to maintain potency.</p>

<h3 class="nm-block-heading wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f9d8-200d-2640-fe0f.png" alt="🧘‍♀️" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Final Word: Don’t Stress the Melted Ice</h3>

<p>Your toxins are shipped fast, sealed, and handled carefully. A melted pack doesn’t mean your product is compromised. If you ever feel unsure, just reach out we’re always here to help.</p>

<p>At <strong>Aesthetic Korea</strong>, your success and safety are our top priority.</p>

<p><strong>Need help or have a question?</strong><br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f449.png" alt="👉" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Message us on Telegram or through our SMS line we’re happy to support you 7 days a week.</p>
